Hello! It’s been awhile since I did one of these “A Peek Into My Life” posts, and a lot has been going on in my life the past couple of weeks! Be prepared for lots of adorable pictures of my niece and some really cute puppies and kittens! 😊
This is my second year to do the Spring100 walking challenge, and I so love my quiet morning (or sometimes, afternoon) walks up and down our long driveway. I like to use this time to pray, memorize Scripture, or just enjoy God’s beautiful creation! The honeysuckle along our driveway has just started blooming, and the fragrance is amazing!
Another thing I love about Spring100 is all the great groups walks we’ve been able to have with family and friends.

I’ve found that our driveway has become a snake crossing. 😬 I normally don’t like snakes, but thought these little green guys were kind of cute.
This last weekend we celebrated my Nana’s 80th birthday. I am so thankful for my sweet grandmother and for her godly example.

Nana getting some great grandmother time in with Lizzy. 🥰
Grandma and uncles getting some play time in as well. I believe this girl has more energy than most of us put together! 😄

Purple is one of Nana’s favorite colors, so it wasn’t hard to figure out what kind of cake to make for her. It took me about four hours just to do the icing, and Grace was sitting opposite me watching excitedly as I did each different flower. 🙂 Although I didn’t plan it, there ended up being around 80 flowers.
Pap asked for the honor of escorting Nana out to show her her surprise gift. It was so sweet to watch him and see his almost boyish excitement. Nana, of course, was very surprised. 😁

they will tell you how much I love you.”

And of course we had to get a Spring100 walk together after lunch. Lizzy thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to walk Max. Such a big girl! 😊

In other news…I bought my first car! 🤗 It’s a ’93 Toyota Corolla, manual windows, and literally no bells or whistles. It is the perfect first car. 😊 I thought it would be fun to name it, and being a lover of Scottish history I decided upon Fiona. It has been nice having my own set of wheels, with all the cleaning and piano teaching jobs I have now. Which brings me to…
My Four-Legged Cleaning Buddies! 🐶😺

At the houses I clean, there are some of the funnest animals! Someone mentioned I should start a youtube channel, but then I wouldn’t get ANY work done! 😂

I think the cats approve of the new car. 😁

One of my piano student’s cats had kittens a couple of weeks ago. Nothing says cute like a pile of orange kittens. 😊

These pictures my sister-in-love sends us from time to time always make my day! 😍
Well, I hope you have enjoyed this little peek into what’s been going on here the past month. Hope you are having a lovely Spring! 🌸🌷
Sincerely,
