After going on a search for an athletic skirt, I am excited to share the results I found!
Trying to find an athletic skirt that was not form fitting, not too short, and within a reasonable price range was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a Snoga athletic skirt.

I got it in the mail this week, and I was pleasantly surprised with this skirt – the modest fit, how comfortable it was, and how cool the material was even in Arkansas’ humid, 100 degree heat index summer weather. 😛 (I might add, though, that I am typically cold natured, so if you are more hot natured the longer leggings might be a problem if you live somewhere that has hot summers.)

For reference – I got the cropped shirt style in size medium. (I usually wear mediums in all my other skirts, so this was pretty true to size.) I am 5’4” and the skirt comes just below my knees. I was a little worried about these skirts being form fitting, but I believe that since my figure is more straight, that may explain why it didn’t fit as tightly as it looked on the website (and it could also be that the models were wearing an extra small, and looked about my size.)

Some of the things that helped make up my mind about getting a Snoga were: All of the positive reviews on their site and from other girls I’ve seen on Instagram, the capri length leggings (that are attached!), and they offer free returns if it doesn’t fit right, or if you just don’t like it.

The only downside I have found with this skirt so far is that the material is slightly clingy, especially if you’re walking against the wind. 🌬😬 But I think that is going to be the case with any type of athletic skirt.

I’ve only worn my Snoga for a few days, so I may need to come back and do another review after they’ve been through a few more activities and some washings. 🙂 Hopefully this has been helpful to some of you gals out there looking for modest activewear!
Here also are some other sites I came across in my search:
The Main Street Exchange – they had cheaper priced skirts, but I was disappointed they only had attached shorts with theirs and not the capri leggings. (At least, in the styles I was looking for.)
The Skirt Lady Boutique – I liked the looks of their athletic skirts, but since they didn’t have very many reviews on their website, I was hesitant to buy one. They are a little more expensive than Main Street Exchange, and slightly cheaper than Snoga.
A friend also suggested just getting a normal skirt with breathable fabric and pair it with leggings underneath. I had thought about that, but I was kind of in a hurry to find one before the Fourth of July weekend, and I wasn’t sure how long it would take me to find something like that. Also, I wasn’t sure if the waist would feel too bulky or not with the leggings being separate.
Do you have an athletic skirt? What do you like/dislike about it?
