Day 3 of #InEverythingGiveThanksChallenge!
Today I am thankful for…
• The person who invented umbrellas! 🌂😁
• Calendars and planners that help me stay on track. 🗓
• House shoes that keep my feet warm on cold, rainy days.
• My car that I was blessed to get earlier this year (and that I’ve had minimal issues with it).
• My godly mother and all of the wise counsel, love, and truth she shares with us. 💕
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” -Colossians 3:17

I fear I am late jumping into this challenge but, praise the Lord, here at last! 😄🧡🍂 Thanks Amanda, for encouraging us to count our blessings and give thanks to the Lord!
🍁Today I am THANKFUL for:
1.) A restful night’s sleep!
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.” Ps 4:8
2.) a delicious Breakfast!
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Ps 37:25
3.) A warm home during the cold season!
4.) WORK to put my hands to!
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Col 3:17
5.) The Rain!! As much as I prefer dry sunny days, rain is so needed in our area.
6.) That the Lord works in us to want and to will to do his good pleasure!!
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” Phil 2:13
7.) For the Lord’s sanctifying work in me!
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10

Here is what I am so thankful for today…
1. That God has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
2. God’s sovereignty! The knowledge that God is control of everything gives me such peace.
3. My mother’s listening ear and insightful wisdom. ❤
4. My journal where I can record the little things in life, big events, and God's faithfulness in my life.
5. This challenge!! It has inspired me to set a goal for 2022 to write down 5 things I'm thankful for every day…. which will result in 1,825 at the end of the year. The Lord does indeed "daily load us with benefits"! Psalm 68:19

Today, I am thankful for…
1. Rubber boots that keep my feet dry while splashing around outside with the dog.
2. The wisdom found in the book of Proverbs.
3. Elastic hair ties!
4. Mrs. Meyer’s lemon verbena cleaning spray (that stuff smells amazing!)
5. Soft grey skies on a cold November day.
Thank you for heading this challenge up again this year, Amanda! Over the past few days, I’ve been blessed by just taking the time to be intentional about noticing and jotting down a handful of God’s abundant blessings!

Today I am thankful for:
1. Meaningful talks with my children.
2. For reaching my goal of 240 quarts of green beans put up.
3. A good nights sleep.
4. Children who do their chores without complaining.
5. For a mother who gave me the example of being a prayer warrior.
