My Redeemer Lives!

Happy Resurrection Sunday! He is risen! ✝️🌅

Leading up to this weekend I’ve had the song, “Redeemer” stuck in my head. The chorus, “I know my Redeemer lives” has filled my heart with such excitement every time I sing it! 😃 Our God is not dead. We serve a risen Savior! This is our hope!
I love that we have this yearly focus on Jesus’ resurrection, like we do His birth. One thing I have been convicted of this week is that the enthusiasm I have felt while singing the truths in this song is something I need to carry with me and seek to share with others the rest of the year, the rest of my life!

“For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God.”
(Job 19:25-26)

“But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.'” (Matthew 28:5-6)

I wanted to share a recording I made of this song, “Redeemer” with you all. 🙂

“Redeemer” by Nicole C. Mullens

Who taught the sun
Where to stand in the morning
And who told the ocean
You can only come this far
And who showed the moon
Where to hide till evening
Whose words alone can
Catch a falling star

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

The very same God
That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary
The worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands
That hold me when I’m broken
They conquer death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer

He lives to take away my shame
And He lives forever I’ll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He’s alive and there’s an empty grave

And I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry

I know my Redeemer lives

Sincerely,
