What are you thankful for today? 🙂

It has been such a blessing to intentionally think about what I have to be thankful for each day! Literally EVERYTHING! “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Here are some of the things I have been thankful for…
Sunday:
1. Life that God gives me everyday!
2. My dad who faithfully teaches God’s Word every Sunday (and everyday in our home!)
3. A powerful, convicting, and thought-provoking sermon.
4. God’s salvation
5. The victory we have through our Lord Jesus Christ! 1 Corinthians 15:57
Monday:
1. Hymns! ♥️
2. God’s plans and purposes for Israel… that He is going to save them in the end.
3. Jesus’ willingness to pay the price for our sins. “The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.” Isaiah 50:5,6
4. A productive day.
5. My sister’s wonderful piano playing! It just pushes my happy button and I am so grateful to live under the roof and get to hear her practice everyday. 😊

Aren’t morning walks just so wonderful and peaceful? 😊 What you shared about Mondays made me smile…sometimes I’m excited about the first (work) day of the new week, but other times I tend to dread them. 🙃 But from now on, I am going to keep that verse from Psalm 118 close to my heart – that will drive away any Monday woes! 😂

Good evening, ladies!! Such a beautiful post for our Sunday + Monday, Amanda!!🍂 Thank you again for hosting this wonderful challenge event!💕
Sunday – Thankful for:
1.Convicting thoughts from our study of John 21. One portion of verses that stood out to me was Jesus’ conversation with Peter, and specifically from verse 15: “…Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, do you love Me more than these?…” Sobering thoughts! How is my love for Him? Do I love Him more than others and put Him first before them? And choose to do His will and follow His teaching no matter what others are doing or saying?
2. Having my brother and his little family join us for our Sunday Bible meeting!
3. My grandparents and getting to visit all three of them this Sunday afternoon! For their examples, their LOVE, their friendships that we share together, for special memories together…their legacies are such special blessings!♥
4. God’s ways of working in hearts and molding and shaping in ways we may not see or imagine – UNTIL He has already accomplished His beautiful work!♥
5. Laughter!! For the JOY that laughter brings and shows! For the laughs this evening! For each person’s individual laugh that’s so unique + special!😁

Martha Joy! These are all so wonderful and made me smile! 😊 That question that Jesus put to Simon Peter (and asking it of ourselves) is a very sobering one indeed.
