It’s time for Day 11 of the In Everything Give Thanks Challenge!
Today I am thankful for:
1. The veterans who have served our country. THANK YOU. 🇺🇸
2. The way this challenge helped me this morning to not cry very long over my burnt gluten free toast. 😢 Instead, I chose to be thankful that I had bread in the first place to make toast with! 😊 (And I was able to salvage the toast. 😁)
3. The helpful person at the hardware store.
4. Kombucha in my favorite soda flavor! 😋🍾
5. Getting our herbal tea cabinet restocked.
6. Our neck of the woods finally showing some pretty fall colors! 🍁🍂

It is funny that we both had “unpleasant” food situations today and chose to be thankful instead of complaining! 🙂 It is amazing that when you start to think of reasons to be grateful about something unpleasant, you find so much to be thankful for and it changes your perspective! I am thankful today for:
1. The time change on Sunday! 😀 It has helped me get up earlier because my body is still waking up at the same time but it is really an hour earlier, so it has been so nice to have that extra time in my day.
2. God’s provision of food for me every single day. Today for lunch I had to eat something that wasn’t my favorite and I almost began to complain about it, but then I decided to “give thanks in everything” and thank the Lord for what I had to eat and be grateful that I wasn’t starving!
3. A few minutes of play-time with our dog this afternoon. He gets so hipper when it is cold and it is so fun to play chase with him! 🙂
4. A powerful sermon by Alistair Begg.

I know! We take so much for granted! It is sometimes only when we don’t have something anymore that we realize what a blessing and a gift from God it was.

🍂Today I am thankful for:
“Thou art my hiding place; THOU shalt preserve me from trouble; THOU shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. ”
Psalm 32:7
1.) That the Lord God is our hiding place!
2.) That in Him is found deliverance!!
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye.”
Psalm 32:8
3.) That HE teaches and guides us in the way we should go!!
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.- Jude 1:24-25
4.) That The Lord God is ABLE to keep us from falling and present us faultless!!😍🙌🏻
5.) For a beautiful and blessed product photoshoot today! Such an answer to prayer!
6.) For a sister who took over dinner duty so I could put in an extra hour of work!
7.) For hoodies! Lifesavers during chilly evenings or cold morning walks. 😛

Today I’m thankful for –
1. A batch of apple slices drying in the dehydrator!!🤗
2. A drizzly, cozy afternoon!! It was so cozy inside, and even with the rain falling, the autumnal leaves were so beautiful!
3. A long phone visit and heart-to-heart with a friend this evening as she drove.❤️
4. My job!!! 🎉 I LOVE my job with Wolf Valley Forge!!🤗 I have so much fun with the work and my boss is one of the best EVER!!
5. A sweet heart-to-heart with my sister tonight.❤️

Tonight I am thankful for how my husband leads our family every night in God’s Word and tonight we read Psalm 136 which says to give thanks to God because:
1. He is good!
2. His mercy endures forever.
3. He alone does great wonders.
4. He made the heavens by wisdom.
5. He laid out the earth above the waters.
6. He made great lights: the sun and moon.
God is so worthy of our praise for all the things that he has done!!!
