On this Saturday, I am thankful for…
1. The birthday surprise that we were able to pull off for my brother last night: a “Happy Birthday” video from one of his favorite Southern Gospel groups.
2. The excitement of watching the National Bible Bee finals with some of my siblings.
3. The encouragement it is to see all of these young people who have memorized God’s Word.
4. Comfy hoodie shirts.
5. Glasses that help me see.

It has been a lovely Saturday! ☺️ I am thankful for…
1. Hearing God’s Word quoted all day long as we watched the National Bible Bee Competition today!
2. Getting excited for the contestants and “helping” them answer the questions or quote their passage. 😁
3. Ice cream! 🍦
4. A certain video that we watched over and over again today! 🤗😉🙃 *melts* *dies laughing*
5. A quiet dinner with my FAVORITE people…. my family!!! ♥️

Ending out this week I am thankful for:
1. God’s guiding hand on our family this week.
2. Being able to watch the National Bible Bee today and being encouraged by hearing God’s word being spoken all morning and afternoon.
3. Finding 17 of my chickens in the chicken room this evening when I shut them up.
4. Jacob getting home safely from his hunting trip to Dierks.
5. A clean house thanks to the hard work of my daughters.🙂

Day 20! How exciting!! We are nearing Thanksgiving Day. 💝🥧 Due to a large work project, I am behind but have decided to just jump back into the day and, Lord willing, keep up from here! I’ve been reading and enjoying your thanksgivings!!

“Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto Thy name: the upright shall dwell in Thy presence.” Ps 140:13
🍂Today I am thankful:
1.) For God’s goodness in seeing me and my sisters through a huge project! He gave inspiration and energy we needed and did not have in our own selves to accomplish quite a bit of work in a very limited amount of time. ♥️
“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” Ps 90:17
2.) For the rest we find our in our Lord Jesus Christ!
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
3.) That God’s Word does not return void! We can share His Word knowing that it will do that good work which the Lord has purposed it to!
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11
4.) That the will of the Lord can not be thwarted! He is Sovereign and will have HIS perfect way!
“I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee.” Job 42:3
5.) For the hope we have! Reminded of Lamentations 3 as it says ““This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.”
6.) For the World Wide Web! It connects us to other believers across the world, enables us to run businesses from home, and can be used to grow in knowledge and skills!
7.) For testimonies! It is a blessing to hear from other believers how the Lord has and is working in their lives! ♥️

I’m thankful for:
1.Getting to have some folks over for an outdoor event! It was a special day!
2. Another GLORIOUS day!! Beautiful afternoon, Fall leaves, crisp, lovely night and a BIG full moon!
3. Precious brothers and sisters in Christ.♥
4. WARMTH to come inside to after a cold night – socks, warm bed + blankets! We enjoyed time around a campfire, and we were talking about the pioneers that were on the wagon trains…can you imagine? Though in a way it sounds exciting, in another way…to think of actually striking out in a wagon?! Nowhere to get in out of the cold, no destination in particular that you’re going…wow! My warm home and bed is a blessing!
5. The words and message of the song “Because He Lives.”
