Playing catch up for Day 23 of the In Everything Give Thanks Challenge!
My thankfuls for yesterday…
1. A fun girls’ shopping day with my aunt Lynn. 🛍
2. Finding almost everything we were looking for.
3. Dairy free ice cream! 😋🍦
4. Getting to stop in and visit with my great aunt.
5. That my car didn’t start making horrible noises until after we were done shopping and before we headed back home.
6. God’s providence in allowing me to miss the turn to get onto the interstate, and then hearing the noises coming from my car.
7. My dad coming to our rescue! ❤️
8. Goofy selfies while waiting for Dad. 🤪
9. My aunt Lynn, who is one of the sweetest, most encouraging, and fun person I know! 🥰

For Tuesday I am thankful for:
1. Waking up under two warm blankets. 🙂
2. A fun shopping trip!
3. Safety through all the crazy traffic in the city.
4. A safe driver! 😉 😀
5. Aunt Lynn- she made the 40 minute wait for Dad a special time of laughter and fun!

Tuesday, I’m thankful for –
1. The ability to hear!! I was having problems with one of my ears this week, so after that has been better, it makes me so grateful for hearing!!
2. My bluelight blocking glasses! I’ve found them SO helpful when using the computer!!
3. Getting a pair of knitted socks finished that have been in progress for a long time!!😋
4. The gift of prayer! Thinking on it – that He INVITES us to pray and talk to Him! That the Spirit makes groanings for us “which cannot be uttered,” when we do not know what to pray for as we ought (Romans 8:26), and that Jesus “always lives to make intercession” for us (Hebrews 7:25)! Wow! What a POWERFUL blessing!!! “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
5. The precious reminder from Romans 5:5 (and more verses in there too!), that HIS hope does not disappoint!! “Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”🥰

You will have to tell me how the Blue Light glasses work! My sisters have been telling me to order a pair since I do so daily much computer work. 👓 I have yet to hear a solid review on how they work!

Tuesday 11.23 TODAY I am thankful for:
1.) My brother, Gideon!! Celebrating his birthday and just overwhelmed with gratitude for HIM! He may be my younger brother but he’s become such a solid leader and encouragement that I completely forget I am older than him! 😅
2.) For a good day of work done! Ready for Thanksgiving break. LORD WILLING! ♥️
3.) For an apron 😋! A big kitchen day as I prepare Birthday Dinner + Dessert!
4.) For a larger family! Makes celebrations so much fun!! 😄
5.) For another day of life! Each day is such a gift!!
