Hello friends! I hope you all have been having a wonderful October! We have finally started to get some lovely fall weather down our way, and I’ve been enjoying the jacket weather and these cooler mornings with the windows open and sipping hot tea. ☕️ This month has seemed to fly by and I cant believe we are almost into NOVEMBER!! And those of who who are regular readers of this blog know what that means…😁
DAY 1 OF THE 4th ANNUAL IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS CHALLENGE!!! 🤗🍁🍂🍁
This challenge of taking a whole month to focus on giving God thanks for everything He gives us in our lives has become such a blessing in my own life, and it’s something I look forward to every year now! It is also neat to get to do this as a community of brothers and sisters in Christ, and to get to see how God is working in each of our lives.
This year I’ve tweaked some things once again, trying to make this challenge more fun and something that work best for everyone! Hopefully I’ve got all the bugs worked out by now. 😊 There will also be an optional Give Thanks Scripture memorization plan, and a giveaway, which I’ll be sharing more about soon!!
The Challenge:
Every day, write down 5 or more things you are thankful for. Every Thursday there will be a “Thankful Thursday” post where you can share highlights (however many you want to do! 🙂) from the thankfuls you wrote down that week.
Where:
The weekly Thankful Thursday posts will be here on the blog. Previously I had done them on Facebook and Instagram as well, but I wanted to try to get everyone sharing in the same spot this time. (For those on Instagram and Facebook, feel free to still share your lists on your social media platforms as well as on the blog if you want to. 🙂) Another new thing I want to do this year is to offer for any In Everything Give Thanks participants to send in 1-2 pictures from their week that will be featured in the Thankful Thursday post! 📸

*The first Thankful Thursday post will be scheduled for Novermber 9th. If you are sending in pictures for the post, please have them sent in by that Tuesday, 10 pm CST.

God is working in each of our lives. giving God thanks for everything he has . done for us . pray without ceasing . peace and joy that comfort . give thanks for this is the will of God in christ Jesus our Lord . I can do all things through Christ which give you strengthenth me. God of peace be with you. keep your hearts and and minds through Christ Jesus . Lately I’m very thankful for the gift of my loving family!♥ So blessed by having a bunch of best friends right in my family, sharing special times, wonderful conversations, or working on projects together. It’s a special season of life!

I am looking forward to being apart of this thankful challenge yet once again! Everyone always has such great and encouraging things to share!
I am thankful for the treasures that are hidden in Christ and His Word, and for the reminder today that we should constantly be digging deep and mining those precious truths, instead of reading quickly and moving on.
“…both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” – Colossians 2:2-3
