In Everything Give Thanks Challenge

In Four Days…πŸ•°πŸ‚πŸ“–

If you’ve been a reader of this blog for very long, then you know that every year I host an In Everything Give Thanks Challenge, where we take the whole month of November to have a focus on recording the things we are thankful to God for! This challenge has always been such a blessing to me, and I’m so thankful for those of you who do it with me! πŸ€— AND GUYS!! I just now realized something as I was making this post…

This is the 5TH year for the In Everything Give Thanks Challenge!!! πŸ˜ƒπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

This may call for a special giveaway this year. 😁 Okay, so here’s all the details for those who are new to the challenge (or those of us who’s memories aren’t so great and need a refresher on the rules πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ™ƒ).

The Challenge:

Every day, write down 5 or more things you are thankful for. Every Thursday there will be a “Thankful Thursday” post where you can share highlights (or however many you want to do! πŸ™‚) from the thankfuls you wrote down that week. There will also be an optional Give Thanks Scripture memorization plan, and a giveaway, which I’ll be sharing more about at a later time!!

Where:

The weekly Thankful Thursday posts will be here on the blog. Previously I had done them on Facebook and Instagram as well, but I wanted to try to get everyone sharing in the same spot this time. (For those on Instagram and Facebook, feel free to still share your lists on your social media platforms as well as on the blog if you want to. πŸ™‚) Another new thing I want to do this year is to offer for any In Everything Give Thanks participants to send in 1-2 pictures from their week that will be featured in the Thankful Thursday post! πŸ“Έ

Pictures can be emailed to: sincerelyamanda@proton.me

*The first Thankful Thursday post will be scheduled for November 7th. If you are sending in pictures for the post, please have them sent in by Tuesday, November 5th.

When:

November 1-30

Leave a comment below if you are going to join us in this challenge or if you have any questions! Also, to start us off a little early, what is one thing you are thankful for? 🧑 This morning I was thinking about how I am so very thankful that we have God’s Word to guide us, comfort us, and instruct us! πŸ“–β€οΈ

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

I’m thankful the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Praise the Lord!

Lamentations 3:22-24[22] The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; [23] they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. [24] β€œThe LORD is my portion,” says my soul, β€œtherefore I will hope in him.”

I am thankful for some beautiful weather outside. I was outside earlier and looked up and noticed how beautiful the day was – a few clouds in a perfect blue sky, the breeze blowing, and temperatures not too warm.😍

    1. So glad to have you join again, Colleen! Our woods are starting to look real pretty and fallish now. It makes me so thankful that God gave us such pretty colors to look at during this season. That owl does sound cute! 😊

    1. Those are good blessings! I can think…for me, a blessing to add to that of which I received this week was a blessed conversation with a dear friend of mine. That is one of my great blessings that I have had this week as well. πŸ™‚

And my kale plants are growing very fast too!

  8. I plan to participate again! One thing I am thankful for now is having a variety of dried fruits and nuts in my office at work to snack on and give me energy throughout the day. Thanks for hosting the challenge!

  9. Thanks Amanda for making this happen! I plan on joining in this year. πŸ™‚ This is a great way to focus our minds on what we are thankful for during what can be a busy time of holiday planning and activities. I am thankful for the great bunch of children that I have who love God first with all their heart and then love their neighbor as themselves!❀️

Jesus said to him, β€œYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

    Matthew 22:37-40
